TIMOTHY JAMAL HENDERSON JR. AGE 18 , BLESSED THIS EARTH ON 7/26/05 AND SADLY WENT ON TO BE WITH OUR GOD 5/4/2024. Timothy Jamal Henderson Jr. also known as TJ was born July 26, 2005, to Lashika Almond of Gainesville (Gwinnett County) Georgia and to Timothy Jamal Henderson Sr. TJ was a smart, charismatic and loving young man who had plans for a bright future in Culinary Arts. He graduated from Peachtree ridge High School in Suwanee, GA in May 2023 and was scheduled to attend Gwinnett Technical College this upcoming fall 2024. TJ will fondly be remembered by his big heart, and the biggest, most beautiful smile you could imagine, it could light up a room if you don’t believe it, you could ask anyone who encountered him. He loved to smile. Although he was young, he was a very caring young man who was supportive to his family, friends and people he loved. To know him was to love him, from small children to the elderly generation. He had a huge love for sports whether he was playing them from a young tender age until the present, watching them on television or putting his sports bets in for his favored teams. Whenever you were around him you were surely in for a good laugh, he had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. Besides making his family and friends keep up on laughter TJ loved to cook. He loved cooking alongside his mother Lashika, cooking for her and friends or assisting with food prepping with family and friends. TJ made sure to ask questions if there was something he did not know how to do and was good at putting his crafty touch on things. One thing people should know most about TJ was his love for his mother Lashika who was not only just his mother but his very best friend. He loved kissing her face every chance he got and didn’t care who saw him. Wherever she would go you were sure to see him close by. They would travel state to state from event to event and TJ loved every minute of it from meeting new people and experiencing new things. On May 8, 2023, Timothy Jamal Henderson Jr. was baptized in the name of the father, the son and the Holy Spirit and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. TJ is surely to be missed and will forever be lovingly remembered. Timothy Jamal Henderson Jr was proceeded in death by his older sister Yashika Smith, his Paternal Grandmother Peggy Turner, Maternal Great Grandparents Catherine & James Porter and aunt Tia La’shun Moore. He leaves to continue loving him the grace of his mother Lashika, father Timothy Sr., sister Janiya Turner, his maternal Grandmother Sharon Thomas, Grandfathers Emory Starks, Mickey Thomas, Timothy Almond, maternal aunts Tiffany Almond, Lanisha (Rico) Barrino, Shaterika Almond, Fariena Evans, Shakenya Tillman (cousin/sister), Maternal uncles Eric Gatheright, Zeke Starks, His Paternal Uncle’s Harry Hill, Daniel Dixon, Benny Dixon, Paternal Aunt Anjeonette Keyes. His Godfather Mathew Johnson and Godmother/Auntie Ebony Johnson and God Daughter Honesti Johnson as well as his special friends Orion Bynum, Nadeen Samuels, a host of young men known as his Bruhs and plenty of additional family members and friend from many states. Celebration of Life Service will be held on FRIDAY, May 17, 2024 at 11:00AM in our Gwinnett Chapel, Pastor Lorenzo Mouzon, Officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 12:00PM - 8:00PM. Interment will take place at Gwinnett Memorial. Please express your condolences here on our website. Gregory B.
