Mrs. Sharon Denise Jackson

"To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven" Sharon Denise Jackson of Loganville, Georgia went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, transitioning from this life, peacefully in her sleep. She was at home surrounded by her family whom she loved dearly. On January 30, 1953, in Atlanta, Georgia Jacquelyn Hall Ford, and Robert Smith were blessed with a healthy beautiful baby girl that they named Sharon Denise Hall. She was the first child and daughter, with a younger brother, Dexter (Tony) Ford. Sharon loved her family and cared deeply for her husband of over four decades, she was a doting mother to her children. Everyone who knew Sharon knew of her family and her love of being able to build her home and spending quality time with them. Nothing made her happier than to relish in time spent with her family. She was a small but mighty woman that would move heaven and hell to ensure that her family was taken care of. Sharon was the revered and unwavering loved wife of Anthony (Bill) Jackson, Sr., and mother/shero of Anthony (Tuesday), Jr. (Skeeter), and LaShanda (Shanda). She was the grandmother of Maxwell-Skylar (MJ), the light of her life. In addition to Sharon’s devoted husband, her children and granddaughter, left to cherish her memories are her aunts Shirley Roswell, cousin Nikki Roswell, and a host of other relatives and friends. Sharon found so much delight in her employment at Northside Medlock Medical Imaging, for over twenty-plus years she had been a part of the Northside family. She was a Lead Secretary and Scheduler and enjoyed this work immensely because she got to interact with people. Sharon loved people and she loved helping others. She would be a listening ear and confidant for those around her and found it easy to engage with peers and patients. This was truly her gift and she used it well. She worked tirelessly until the day she was diagnosed October 22, 2021. Sharon treasured her Northside family, many considered her “sassy” work mom that took the time to get all and keep everyone straight. Even in this journey when times were at their hardest Sharon made sure to try to answer calls and texts from her beloved Northside family, and when she couldn’t she asked her daughter to be her voice and her fingers. While we will truly miss her dearly, we are filled with gratitude and are better because we had the privilege of knowing and loving our dear Sharon Denise Jackson. She will always, and continually be in our hearts. Sharon will forever be a beloved wife, amazing mom, best friend, confidant, cherished soul, loving spirit, a listening ear, kind heart, survivor, selfless woman of God. Sharon, we LOVE you, lady!
