Dr. Reginald Eugene Peterson

Reginald Eugene Peterson, DBA was born to the late Thomas and Elizabeth Brown Peterson on September 2, 1966 in Jacksonville, FL. He attended the local public schools in Jacksonville, where he graduated from Jean Ribault Senior High School in 1984. Reginald was united in Holy Matrimony for thirty-one years to Cherry Celestine Peterson and raised three children together. Reggie, as he was affectionately known by his loved ones, was an alum of the University of Florida. While matriculating at UF, he served his country as a United States Air National Guard from 1987-1991. He also became a proud brother of the World Famous Zeta Kappa Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1990 and went on to receive his Masters of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. Ultimately, receiving his Doctorate in Business Administration from Walden University. Reggie’s other organizational affiliations included Prince Hall Masonry, as well as, York Rite, Scottish Rite Free Masonry, and a Noble Member of the Shriners Temple - El Tariq Temple #245. In his professional life, Reginald worked for over twenty years in the supply chain, starting off as a buyer with Siemens and continuing to advance his career as the Americas Director of Indirect Procurement with Dematic. In his personal time, Reginald loved to travel with his family, cook, listen to music, watch movies; and above all, laugh with his family and friends. Dr. Peterson obediently accepted the will of the Heavenly Father and departed this life on August 27, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Peterson, Sr. and Elder Elizabeth Brown Peterson, and his brother, William D. Peterson, Sr. Reginald Eugene Peterson, DBA leaves behind to cherish his memory a loving wife, Cherry Celestine Peterson; children, Genivier Peterson, Renard Peterson, and Ashley Peterson; siblings, Samuel Brown (Deborah), Thomas Peterson, Jr., Ronald Peterson, Sr. (Linda), Lois Peterson Prime, Patricia Peterson Francis, Larry Peterson, Sr. (Angela); mother-in-law, Pamela Celestine; father-in-law, Christopher Celestine; siblings-in-law Wade Celestine and Cherry Celestine Adams (Jeff); his beloved fraternity brothers; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
