Mary Louise Lee

Mary Louise Lee was born on March 20, 1956 to Ms. Mary Francis Lewis. Mary attended elementary and high school in the Dekalb county School District by way of Stone Mountain Elementary and Stone Mountain High School. Mary was a sweet woman with a genuine caring heart. Her smile was contagious; her spirit and love for everyone was overflowing. She was a feisty lady even though she was small in stature, she packed a big punch. If you had the opportunity to know Mary or Ninnie, as she was affectionately known by family and close friends, you loved her because she was just that kind of woman. In December 1970, Mary gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She named her Trulesa. She was proud to be a mom and she simply adored her baby girl. This is also when Mary began her work history. She wanted to take care of her daughter herself without government assistance. So, she worked several jobs; then November 1096, Mary gave birth to a handsome son. She named him Timothy. She loved and adored him also. Ninnie didn’t go back out to work. Her work at home was just beginning. Shortly after Timothy was born, her 3 oldest grandsons came to live with Mary and her significant other Cleave. They raised all four boys until they were grown. However, the baby boy, Donnie, was still living with them when she expired. It seems that Mary was happy while taking care of her home and kids. She enjoyed cooking (not to mention she was a great cook!), cleaning and just taking care of the home, the children, Cleave and lastly, herself. She was a natural caregiver and it showed. Ninnie touched so many lives in so many ways and she will truly be missed. Mary leaves behind to cherish her memories, her children, Trulesa and Timothy Lee, her mother, Mary Francis Lewis, her uncle, Mr. Willie Lee, and aunt, Ms. Pearl Gude; 4 grandsons, Christopher, Darius, Donnie and Rico, Jr., nine great-grandchildren; the love of her life, Cleveland “Cleave” Williams and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29, 202 at 12 Noon at Gregory B. Levett and Sons South Dekalb Chapel, with the visitation starting at 10:00 AM.
