In Loving Memory of Jeffrey Erwin Howard January 2, 1970 – June 13, 2026 With profound sadness yet unwavering faith in God's promises, we celebrate the life and legacy of Jeffrey Erwin Howard, who departed this earthly life on June 13, 2026, in Birmingham, Alabama. Born on January 2, 1970, in Mansfield, Ohio, Jeffrey was the beloved son of Charles C. Howard and Elma D. Howard. Jeffrey's life was one marked by faith, resilience, love, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to family. He was a man whose presence could fill a room, whose smile could brighten a difficult day, and whose generous spirit touched countless lives. To know Jeffrey was to experience his warmth, his humor, and his sincere desire to help others whenever he could. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Charles C. and Elma D. Howard, and his cherished grandmothers, Beatrice Hafford and Bessie Middleton, who undoubtedly welcomed him into eternal glory. A proud graduate of Mansfield Senior High School's Class of 1989, Jeffrey later pursued professional training at Road Masters Trucking School in 2005. Throughout his life, he embraced every opportunity to work hard and provide for those he loved. A true jack-of-all-trades, Jeffrey's career path included commercial driving, short-order cooking, delivery services, ministry leadership, and co-management of a commercial trucking company. Whatever task was before him, he approached it with determination, dedication, and a willingness to serve. From an early age, Jeffrey's faith played a central role in his life. He grew up attending Mt. Hermon Baptist Church in Mansfield, Ohio, where he faithfully participated in the Sunshine Band Choir. His spiritual journey deepened over the years, culminating in his becoming a licensed minister in 2013 and co-founding Push for Christ International Ministries. Jeffrey remained steadfast in his devotion to God and was passionate about sharing the Gospel, encouraging others, and living a life that reflected his faith. Among the greatest blessings in Jeffrey's life was the love he shared with his devoted wife, Adrea Rumbolt-Howard. Their relationship was built upon love, friendship, faith, and unwavering commitment. Through life's many seasons, Adrea stood faithfully beside him as a source of strength, encouragement, and companionship. Together they created cherished memories and built a bond that was evident to all who knew them. Jeffrey deeply treasured his wife and the life they shared together. While his passing leaves an immeasurable void, the love they shared remains a lasting testament to the beautiful partnership they enjoyed. Jeffrey was a devoted father whose love extended across a large and blended family. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Adrea Rumbolt-Howard; his children, Jeffrey Howard, Jr., Lateesha Askew, Deontez Askew, Shawntivia Cobb, Alisiante Windham, Te'Ante Windham, and Trevonte Windham; his grandchildren, James Howard, Sr., Ryhonna Howard, Bryson Windham, Keziah Windham, Cameryn White, Sha'Marie Askew, and Emerald Askew; and his great-grandson, James Howard, Jr. He is also lovingly remembered by his stepmother, Aggie L. Howard of Mansfield, Ohio; his siblings, Christopher Howard, Lisa Howard-Williams, Alex (Tonya) Howard, and Carolyn Howard-Granger; his aunts, Maxine McDowell, Bobbie Baugh, Carolyn Howard-Reynolds, and Toni Howard; his uncle, John (Angie) Hafford, Sr. of Akron, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, church family, and dear friends spanning California, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and beyond. Outside of his work and ministry, Jeffrey found great joy in life's simple pleasures. He was a passionate sports fan who proudly supported the Pittsburgh Steelers and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed traveling with family, taking long walks, swimming, cooking, and spending time with those he loved most. Known as the life of the party, Jeffrey's infectious laughter, quick wit, caring heart, and protective nature endeared him to everyone around him. He was the family member who could make people laugh, offer wise counsel, and lend a helping hand when it was needed most. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we rejoice in the assurance that Jeffrey's earthly journey has led him into the presence of his Lord and Savior. His life reminds us of the importance of faith, family, perseverance, and love. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. The family asks that you remember Jeffrey's infectious smile, his unmistakable laughter, and the love he freely shared. Hold your fondest memories of him close, speak of him often, and treasure the moments you shared so that his legacy may never be forgotten.
