Lee, Jr. ***************************************************************************************************************** Della B. White was born on August 29, 1947 to her late mother Ollie B. George Henderson and to her late father Clifford P. Henderson (William White) in Lexington, KY. She attended Dunbar High School and was a member of Greater Liberty Baptist Church in Lexington, KY. She was an outspoken and vibrant woman who was held back by nothing. She believed in enjoying life to its fullest. She lived in the D.C. and Atlanta areas for many years and thrived. While in Atlanta she became a member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. She was successful in all that she put her hand to due to her inner motivation. Della had many hobbies and was well known for her cooking skills in a kitchen of any size. She had the ability to make all those who she came in contact with fall in love with her. She smiled like no other and laughed with a sound that came out of heaven from the mouths of angels. Her vibrant personality made her presence attractive and commanding. She never shied away from any setting and always commanded the room. Della has graced many lives and we all were awed by her presence. Della leaves her only daughter and best friend Lisa D. Mealing, her loving siblings Gertrude Hill (James Hill), Charles F. White, Carl T. White and Joyce E. Parks, sister-in-law Jessica Henderson, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish the memories of her breathtaking smile, angelic laughter and fulfilled life. Her brothers James A. Hamilton and Clifford P. Henderson Jr. preceded her in death.Della??s favorite flower was the rose and just like the rose she blossomed in full beauty and elegance with a fragrance that we will never forget and we all were blessed to behold her beauty. Although her passing brings tears of sorrow we rejoice in knowing that her spirit has returned to the One she loved most. The One who gave her life and ordered her steps her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
