David St. Anthony Walters

David St. Anthony Walters was born on October 1st 1970 to Ronald George Walters and Jeanette Walters in Kingston Jamaica West Indies. He attended the Whitfield Town and Spanish Town Primary schools in Jamaica. David was very ambitious, he loved to work. At the age of 9 he started working after school in a store where they made aluminum pots and pans. He was a good grandson to his grandmother Aunt Ivy who helped to raise him after his parents left Jamaica for the USA. David Migrated to the USA in 1983 where he continued to work after school in several supermarkets. In 1989 he graduated from Queens Vocational High School. David Loved to work in the food and manufacturing Industry, and Upon graduation he worked at several places including Western Beef and the New York City Health Dept. Warehouse. His last job was at Walmart where he worked for several years, loading and driving the forklift, but resigned last year for health reasons. On May 30th. 1999. David Married Tonia Marie Powell. Through that union three (3) children were born. In 2002 David and Tonia decided to join other family members in Atlanta, where he resided until May 5. 2021. David was a great husband and family man, who has always put his family first. They recently bought a new house and he worked continuously to make it a happy home for his wife and children. He will be sadly missed by his wife Tonia Marie Walters, children, Devon, Khalil and Deja. Sisters: Marie, Donna, Sharon, Annie and brother Michael. Brother-in-laws. Mikey, Larry, Anthony and Richard. Nieces: Annmarie, Coleen, Samantha, Dominique, Anazette, Iman, Melissa and Alia. Nephews: Tyrone, Damien and Johnathan. Aunts: Estella, Doreen, Aunty Pinks & Dave. Uncles: Clarence, Lloyd, Rensford, & Leon Davis. Cousins: Khama, Colin, Kirk, Sophia, Justin, Charlotte, Ivett, Ashley, Ian, Ray and Leon Jr. and an overwhelming amount of family and friends. Celebration of Life Services for David St. Anthony Walters will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 1:00PM. These services will be recorded and streamed live.
