Carolyn Denise Bradford

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carolyn Denise Bradford, born September 7, 1957, and called home on April 9, 2026. Carolyn Denise Bradford was born to the late Constance and James Bradford in Columbus, Ohio. She was educated in the public school systems of Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio. Later, she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where she entered into a brief marriage with Joe Kegler. She remained in Atlanta until she was called to be with our Heavenly Father. Carolyn was a faithful and devoted member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, for many years. Her heart for ministry was evident in all she did. She served joyfully in outreach, going door to door to invite families to church and offer prayer. She also served at The King’s Table, where she helped provide food to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Carolyn had a passion for encouraging others, especially through Women on the Path, where she uplifted and supported women in their spiritual journeys. She welcomed and guided new members, teaching them about Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith. Professionally, Carolyn was a Master Insurance Agent and worked in the healthcare industry with UnitedHealthcare. Most recently, she began a new chapter with Mark Spain Real Estate. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Claude Crenshaw and Ronald Bradford; her beloved uncle, Rufus Charles Fish, Jr.; and her aunt, Gloria Benson. She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings, Barbara Ann Martin, Karen Martin, Wendy Fisher, Theresa Bradford, and Mohandas Reed; her aunts, JoAnn Fish and Gwen Wims; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends. Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace, free from all pain and worry. Carolyn was a loving and devoted sister, deeply cherished by many. Her kindness, faith, and unwavering love will never be forgotten. She will be truly missed. Rest in peace, sister in Christ. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
