Ms. Rutha A Frazier was born August 3, 1953 in Elloree, SC and was the daughter of the late Sarah J. Shuler (Ernest Shuler) and James Starks, and a brother. She was the oldest of seven and leaves to cherish her only child Richard Frazier II, three sisters, Liz Shuler, Rosa Cotton (Greg Cotton) and Daisey Randolph (Samuel-Earl Randolph Sr), two brothers Carl Shuler (Sylvia) and Walt Shuler. A host of nieces, nephews and God Children. She also, leaves a host of family, & friends in Atlanta, GA and in South Carolina. She also leaves a countless number of children who lives she has touched and impacted along the way. Ms. Frazier graduated college from Claflin College in the 70’s where she pledged Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. By the mid-70’s she relocated to Atlanta, GA where she continued her education receiving her master’s degree at the Atlanta University Center (AUC). During her time at the AUC, she met her husband Richard Frazier Sr who she married in the 1980’s. Teaching for several years in the AUC area, in 1985 Ms. Rutha Frazier and Richard Frazier Sr, welcomed into the world a son Richard Frazier II. She became a English/Reading Founder at Morehouse where she touched countless hearts. She became a member of Rainbow Park Baptist Church, in 2009 where she continued her spiritual journey and her work with children. She leaves a legacy of love, generosity, and unselfishness for us to exemplify. Out of all the roses in the garden, God picked our best, our own “Ms. Frazier”.
