Mrs. Letitia Nobles-Garrett departed this life on Monday, June 13, 2022. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Gregory B Levett & Sons South Dekalb Chapel. Due to COVID-19, a mask will be required to enter our building. Livestream: https://vimeo.com/event/2168869 Letitia Yvette Nobles-Garrett was born in Panorama City, California on January 30, 1971, to Lois and Julius Nobles. She graduated from Chatsworth High School in Chatsworth, California in 1988. After high school she attended Brooks College and received her Associates degree in Interior Design. At an early age she accepted Christ and joined Pacoima First United Methodist Church in Pacoima, California, where her love to serve began. Looking for a fresh start, Letitia relocated from California to Georgia in 2002 to be closer to her nagging little brother. As she made the move shortly thereafter, she began her career with Cox Automotive as a Client Contracts Specialist where she worked for the past 18 years. Letitia later attended The Art Institute of Atlanta – Culinary School to further pursue her love for cooking. She developed a superb palate and could identify everything in a dish. Letitia used her skills to cook for her family and later started a catering business where she became known as “Lil Foot Chef”. Letitia was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, volunteering, and spending quality time with her family and friends. You could always catch her watching a Disney movie with her children, niece, and nephew, at the latest concert with friends or by the beach with her husband overlooking the ocean. Letitia was a sweet and beautiful woman whose kindhearted nature always brought a smile to everyone’s face. She embodied the meaning of family, love, and friendship. To know her was to love her and she will be greatly missed by every life she touched. Letitia is survived by her husband, Charlie Garrett Jr., daughter Iman Beyah, sons Noah Omar and Charlie Garrett III. Devoted parents Lois and Julius Nobles, brother Nautilus and sister in-law Utevia Nobles, niece Taylor Nobles, nephew Christian Nobles of Huntsville, Alabama; Devoted-in laws Shirley and Charlie Garrett Sr., of Talladega, Alabama brother-in laws Cedric and sister in-law Kim Garrett and Fred Garrett of Los Angeles, California and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
