On September 10, 1955, a bouncing baby boy was born to the parent of the late Enita Mock-Williams in Thomasville, North Carolina. Keith was well-known as “Peanut 21” while playing football at Thomasville Senior High School where he graduated followed by playing baseball at Lee’s McRae. Keith also played football at Elon College, after college he entered the United States Navy. After the Navy, Keith and the love of his life Priscilla C. Williams moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he was employed and retired with DeKalb County School System for over thirty years. Due to his loving of sports, Keith also became the manager of James R. Hallford Stadium. During his spare time, he enjoyed watching sports on tv especially Washington (Redskins), Tarheels, New York Yankees, and the Falcons. He appreciated good music and loved looking at politics and informative television shows while sitting back in his favorite chair. Keith adored his family and friends to the upmost. He was always loving, compassionate, and very quiet but never afraid to speak his mind on any matters that were extremely important to his wife and children. Keith was deeply planted in his faith and took great pride in his spiritual journey. The highlight of Keith’s life was his family, aunts, uncles, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. They all had a special place in his heart. Keith encouraged everyone and anyone that crossed his path. He was known for his jokes and always keeping a smile on people’s face. Keith L.
