Cynthia Roberson affectionately known as “Cynt” and “Boo” was born on November 24, 1968 to Willie and Lula Roberson in Belleville, New Jersey. She made her transition after a long illness on December 22, 2021 at Emory Decatur Hospital. She graduated from East Orange High School in East Orange, New Jersey in 1986. After high school, she attended Ramapo College in Mahway, New Jersey where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications in 1991. Cynthia went on to have two children, a daughter, Alexis Renee Roberson and a son, Matthew Ashton Roberson. She was employed in the retail and culinary industries. Her most recent place of employment was Westbury Rehabilitation Center in Conyers, GA as a Cook. Cynthia accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Pastor Jonah Nixon at Trinity Baptist Church (Newark, NJ) and truly loved Christ. She relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 2000 and later joined Hope & Life Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Tony Brock (Snellville, GA) Cynthia loved cooking and entertaining her family and friends. She often would sing “I’ll take you there” by the Staple Sisters in her neighborhood during her early childhood years. Cynthia is preceded in death by her father, Willie Roberson and brother, Willie Cal Roberson. Cynthia Roberson leaves to cherish her memories of life, her daughter, Alexis Renee Roberson, son, Matthew Ashton Roberson, Loving mother, Lula Mae Roberson, 3 sisters, Renee Roberts of Loganville, GA, Naomi Jewel (Richard) Bullock of Loganville, GA, Veronica Hannah of New Jersey, nephew, Gregory Tyler Roberts, “her Hunny Bunny” of North Carolina and her special niece, Madisyn Grace Bullock of Loganville, GA. Four aunts, Fannie (Curtis) Watford of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Bessie Evans, of Vero Beach, Florida, Bae Mae Simpkins of Vero Beach, Florida and Lillie Mae Davis of Millen, Georgia, two uncles, Eddie Roberson of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Matthew Roberson of Millen, Georgia, one special cousin/sister Miriam Green and one special friend Jacqueline Bailey, and a host of cousins and friends.
