Bryce Christopher Pitts Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Bryce Christopher Pitts (June 28, 2000 - June 30, 2022) a beloved son, brother, family member, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Grady Memorial Hospital. Although only 22, Bryce had an infectious smile that touched so many people. Those who knew Bryce, instantly recognized his beautiful spirit that was a true beacon of light, inspiring others towards love and kindness. Bryce is the son of Katrina Thorne and Bradford Pitts. He was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and raised in both Newport News, Virginia and Buford, Georgia. Bryce graduated from Mill Creek High School in 2018. After graduating High School Bryce attended the University of North Georgia where he was pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. His humor, giving nature, compassion for others and warm personality touched the hearts of many. Bryce was always the life of the party and a friend to everyone. He enjoyed playing sports and video games but was most passionate about music. He would spend countless hours in the basement composing music and beats. More importantly Bryce had a deep love for his family and cherished the time he spent with family and friends. Bryce was a giving man, willing to do anything for anyone no questions asked. Bryce will be missed, but never forgotten. Bryce was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother (Ellen Miller Pitts Gray) and his maternal grandmother (Janice Thorne). Those left to cherish his memories are his mother Katrina Thorne of the home, father Bradford Pitts, brother Chase Pitts of the home, grandfather Gamaliel Thorne of the home, four aunts (Anastasia, Kristie, Ayo and Latasha) and three uncles (Derrick, Brandon and Anthony), as well as a host of special friends. Funeral services will take place at Gregory Levett & Sons Funeral Home. Immediately following, burial services will take place at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. A poem to our beloved son: HIS SMILE Though his smile is gone forever And his hand I cannot touch I still have so many memories Of the one I loved so much. His memory is now my keepsake Which with I’ll never part. God has him in his keeping I have him in my heart. Sadly missed, but never forgotten.
