Xavia Tyree McClary

The family of Mr. McClary has requested all floral arrangements to be all white. Xavia “Too Tall” Tyree McClary, 30, of Ellenwood, Georgia, received his wings Sunday, March 24, 2024, in Decatur, Georgia. He was born on August 5, 1993, to Schontal McClary and George Brewer in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Xavia came into this world, the product of love between two young college students. Adversity followed Xavia from an early age, and yet throughout his years, Xavia traversed the valleys of life with head held high, a smile on his face, and humor in his heart. He was an amazing, inquisitive, and loving child with a jovial spirit. Full of energy and constantly moving. Xavia was an avid athlete playing basketball, baseball, football, swimming, gymnastics, and soccer. His maternal grandfather, Luther Anthony, was his best friend and mentor. It’s through this relationship that Xavia found an appreciation for golf. Xavia was a creative soul. Talented in drawing and passionate about his music. Xavia could look at a picture and recreate it with detail. He created a home studio, wrote his own lyrics, producing his own music and videos. He was in the process of writing a manuscript for a movie, with characters based on his friends. Xavia loved the pool table. He was a professional billiard player, playing in various venues including Las Vegas. He won tournaments individually and with teams. Xavia’s education started at Rainbow Baptist Church School, a small private school in Decatur, Georgia. He attended various schools in the metropolitan area before graduating from Troop County High School. Xavia’s talents in football gained him a full scholarship to Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kansas. Xavia worked in the supply chain industry as a driver, and most recently in security. Security made sense as a career. At his core, Xavia felt a strong sense of responsibility to ensure his friends and family members were safe. His nickname was “Too TALL” ... To All, Love and Loyalty! Xavia left this world, living his mantra, being a loving, loyal friend. He will be forever missed. Xavia is survived by his mother Schontal Teke McClary (Emmanuel “Mack” McClusky); his father, George Brewer (Gena); sisters, Kymberlyn Gardner (Simone), Jamil Moss, and Aria Brewer; and brothers, Julian Mapp, Jarren Mapp, and Arion Akins; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews of who loved him dearly. Xavia leaves behind a three-year relationship with his soulmate and the love of his life, Tracy Jones, and her two young children, Tallen Little and Trayannah Little. Xavia was in the process of building a family with Tracy at the time of his untimely death – two days after they moved into their new home.
