William E. Baker Jr.

William Baker Jr., also known as Will, was born on February 27, 1977, in Manhattan, New York. His parents were the late William Baker and Alethea Baker who currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland. Will spent his childhood in Harlem, and later moved to Wilmington, North Carolina in 1996. While living in Wilmington he married his beloved wife Tameka Baker before moving his family to Suwanee, Georgia in 2012, Will loved life and was a very caring individual who loved talking. He was a master of conversation. His life was filled with connections (he met people at the gas station, grocery store, friends, neighbors, shopping center, restaurant, and anywhere else he came into contact). Throughout his life he never forgot a face. Will could achieve anything he set his mind to. An "ambitious person," he made things happen for himself and his family. Will was a successful entrepreneur. Among the businesses he operated were Harlem Kennel, as a dog breeder, Baker's Concrete Company LLC, Credit Builders of Atlanta, and Old Harlem Transport, LLC. Again, anyone that knew Will knew he was always delving into new business ventures, which was something he had a distinct talent for. In the hearts of his family and friends, who were always entertained by his stories and hilarious sense of humor, he leaves a huge hole. It was his love of being in the spotlight that put life into the party. It was evident in the way he lived that he loved life. The simple act of sitting around and hanging out with family, friends, and of course food, turned into a fun time! Cooking was Will's greatest passion in life. No matter what the circumstances, you always have a story about something funny/crazy to tell. He also leaves behind many other family members and close friends.
