Warren Morgan II

Mr. Warren H. Morgan, II, 66 years of age, passed on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, GA. Warren was born October 3, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Warren H. Morgan, Sr., and Kathryn Banks. He was the oldest of 5 siblings. Warren attended John Marshall Harlan Community Academy on the south side of Chicago. He graduated from Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois with a concentration in Business Administration Management. Warren relocated his family to Atlanta, Georgia in 1988. Warren’s life was filled with many extraordinary accomplishments. Among the greatest was his marriage to Sharolyn Square Morgan on August 18, 2018, blending two families into one. A loving and faithful husband, father, grandfather and brother, Warren leaves to cherish his loving memory: his wife, Sharolyn Square Morgan; five children, Brandon Morgan (Shamia) of Lanett, Alabama, Britton Morgan (Tamara) of Smyrna, Georgia, Dymon Morgan (Adolfo Munoz) of Smyrna, Georgia, Erika Farmer of Smyrna, Georgia and Brianna Farmer of Centreville, Virginia; 4 grandchildren, Makayla Morgan, Kameron Wright, Tanner Morgan and Travis Farmer; brothers, Andre Morgan of Chicago, Illinois and William Johns, III of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters, Sheryl Morgan of Chicago, Illinois and Angelina Johns of Chicago, Illinois. Preceded in death by his father Warren H. Morgan Sr. and mother Kathryn Banks. Warren leaves a professional legacy in many avenues. His journey began at Allstate Insurance in 1970s and he moved to AT&T in 1979. He retired from AT&T as Director, Outside Plant Engineering in 2003, after 25 years of service and dedicated himself to entrepreneurship having successful businesses in industries such as entertainment, multimedia, and utilities. At the time of Warren’s passing, he was President of W. Morgan Video Communications, an interactive video marketing company and Principle/Co-Founder of WM Ventures, Inc., an electrical power line construction company. WM Ventures has been nominated as the Georgia Minority Supplier Diversity Council (GMSDC) Supplier of the Year Class II from 2017- 2019. Beyond the business world, Warren has always had a profound love for Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. He pledged with Xi Epsilon Chapter at Eureka College in 1972 and was a founding member of Rho Gamma Gamma Chapter in Chicago in 1987. He is currently a proud member of Eta Omega Chapter in Atlanta, Georgia.
