Robinson and the late Sheram A. Robinson. As a young child he attended Hunter Memorial AME Church with his family. He also attended Panorama Elementary School. In 1984 the family moved to Atlanta where he attended Hapeville Middle School and graduated from Tri City High School. Vincent had a passion for music and love to dance … he particularly loved Michael Jackson and country singer Garth Brooks. He also loved athletics, bowling, skiing, and participated on the Special Olympics track and field team rendering him numerous first and second prize medals. He played basketball on his school team. He was also an avid roller skater beating out both his brothers Ernest and Clifford. In earlier years he was involved in the lives of his younger nieces Eryn and Camille lighting up their days visiting Stone Mountain Beach; hanging out the community pool, and participating in various activities. He always looked out for them ensuring their safety. From 1991-1995 Vincent lived in Michigan with his great uncle Lomax Smith as guardian and there attended Van Buren Special Education Learning and life center where he was taught social and work skills. He lived off campus at a neighboring group home. In 1995 Vincent returned back to Atlanta from Michigan with his mother Eula. He also joined Salem Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA and attended Creative Enterprises in Lawrenceville, GA where he participated in their day program. He is lovingly remembered by his brothers Ernest A. Robinson (Chandra), Clifford S. Robinson (Kashera), sisters Angie Johnson (Jerel), Melanie Robinson, Dee Dee Robinson, as well as nieces and nephews, Eryn Robinson, Camille Robinson, Amari Robinson, Alexis Robinson, Camryn Robinson, Clifford Robinson Jr. (CJ) and his great niece Hope Robinson. In addition, his aunts, Jeanette Johnson, and great aunt, Nell Merritt as well as many other loved ones including the nursing staff that cared for him through his later years. He is preceded in death by his sister Samantha Robinson Sharpe (Delaware), Aunt Margaret Figueroa (New Jersey), Aunt Regina Richardson (Arizona), Grandmother Evangeline Smith (Illinois), father Sheram Robinson (North Carolina) Celebration of life Services will be held on Wednesday May 31, 2023, At 11AM at Salem Baptist Church. 4700 Church St. NW, Lilburn, GA 30047 These services will be recorded and streamed live.
