Born and raised in Atlanta, Verlin was the epitome of entrepreneurial spirit and a guiding light for many aspiring business minds within the community. His innovative approach and dedication to his work left indelible marks on the lives he touched and the ventures he led. Verlin's journey was one of passion, diligence, and unwavering commitment to his aspirations. As an entrepreneur, he carved out a legacy of excellence that will continue to inspire future generations. Outside of his professional life, Verlin was known for his warm heart, infectious laugh, and a generous spirit that extended beyond personal acquaintances to all who had the pleasure of crossing his path. Family, friends, and colleagues are warmly invited to gather to remember and celebrate Verlin’s remarkable life. Visitation will be held at Gregory B. Levett and Son Funeral Home - Flat Shoals Location in Decatur, Georgia, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be conducted at Welcome Friend Baptist Church in Ellenwood, GA, on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, to honor Verlin’s enduring legacy and the light he brought into the lives of others. Following the celebration, Verlin will be laid to rest at Kennedy Memorial Cemetery in Ellenwood, GA, on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Arrangements and services are being managed by Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory - South Dekalb. Verlin leaves behind a world that is richer and more compassionate because of his presence. While his physical journey might have concluded, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him and in the community he served so passionately.
