Timothy Stevens

Timothy Stevens was born March 10, 1962, in Sanford Florida to the late Alberta Amos and Booker T. Rouse Jr. He was the eldest of four siblings born to Alberta. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Johnny F. Amos. In their care, he was raised to serve and love God. Tim was educated in Seminole County, Florida. He graduated from Seminole High School in 1980 and furthered his education at Everest College in Atlanta, GA to become a Surgical Technician. Tim started his career in Dietary at Central Florida Regional Hospital, Sanford, Florida. After moving to Atlanta in the late 80’s he worked for Shallowford Hospital. He ended his career with a combination of 35 years of Service with Emory Healthcare. Tim was a gentle man with a kind spirit, big heart, and great personality. He made friends everywhere he went; he never met a stranger. Most people who knew him would say there was nothing he wouldn’t do for his friends and family. He was an avid football fan. His favorite team was the Florida State University Seminoles. Tim enjoyed playing most sports (racquetball, basketball, baseball). He also loved music, dancing and having a good time. On February 9, 2013, Tim married the “love of his life,” the late Nie’sha Jaunte’ Reed. The two were inseparable. On Monday, December 18, 2023, Timothy Stevens transitioned from this earthy realm into his eternal rest. He is survived by his Parent: Johnny F. Amos; In-laws: Tamara and Mark Goodridge, Paul and Luci Reed; Sisters: Latrina Daniels (Timothy), Kayla Hughes (Michael), Vivian Amos, and D. Katrina Rouse; Brother: Troy Rouse; Stepchildren: Iylind Cox and Legend Stewart; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, God- sisters, God-brother, cousins, and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his wife: Nie’sha Jaunte’ Reed; mother: Alberta Amos; father: Booker T. Rouse Jr.; grandmothers: Sally Lou Stevens, Addie Amie, and Sarah Rouse; grandfathers: Willie Stevens Sr., Booker T. Rouse Sr., and Claudie Amie. Mr. Timothy Stevens "Buddyrow" of Conyers, GA entered into eternal rest on December 18, 2023.
