Sonia Clark

Sonia Clark was born on August 14, 1959. Sonia was the second of two children to the late Lebon & Joan Clark. Sonia was preceded in death by both parents Lebon & Joan Clark, Daughters, Kimberly Clark, Lawanda Clark, Sister Millicent Belk, and Nephew Damon Belk. Sonia accepted Christ at a very young age at Salem Missionary Baptist Church and remained committed to Faith until she was called home to Glory on October 25,2024. Sonia was raised in the Mark Trail Community of Decatur, Georgia. She attended Tony Elementary School, and Gordon High School. Sonia had a passion for cleaning houses and always kept her home spotless. Being the outgoing person she was, she built up a clientele and started helping the elderly by cleaning housing and builing friendships with the love and passion she shared while doing her job. Sonia also loved cooking and feeding her neighbors in her community and outside of the community. Sonia was a sweet, vibrant, hilarious and encouraging lady who met no strangers. She loved to entertain and dance. We all can say she was the life of the party. She delighted in helping whomever she could. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. Sonia leaves to cherish her memories and is survived by: Her Loving and Devoted Children, Carlas Rucker, Corey Clark Casey (LaToya) Clark, Chasity (Timothy) Clark Loving and Devoted Niece Lawanda Belk -Alexander, her Loving grandkids: Brintavious, Quintavious, Dentavious, Mi'zya, Dashiell, Cassidy, Tre'vion, Sy'nyia, Cortez Jr., Christian, D'Corey, Corey Jr, Alijah, Ta'khia, Aaniyiah, Jayden, Kemont'e, Treyveion, Artavian, Da'shun. her Loving Great Grandkids: Londyn, Trinity, Alani, Jeremiah Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. There is a lot to be said about Sonia Clark, but the pictures speak a thousand words. How much she loved her family can be seen with your own eyes. She admired all these pictures and more. There was nothing she would not have done for her friends and famly. We as a family sat down and decided we would like for you to share with us the JOY she had just loving us all as a family. Seeing her children grow up and spending time with loved ones was her favorite thing to do. Mama asked that all of us take care of each other because FAMILY is what it's all about; and No Matter What, Trust In the LORD...
