Born on February 15, 1951, to the late James Hudson and Glady's O'Kelley, Sharon's life was a testament to faith, family, and service. From a young age, Sharon demonstrated a radiant spirit and unwavering devotion to Christ, accepting Him as her Savior early in life. She cultivated a love for learning and creativity, graduating from Whiteford Elementary and Bass High School in Atlanta, Georgia, before honing her artistic talents at Bauder School of Fashion. Sharon’s career at Macy's spanned an impressive 33 years, during which her warmth and dedication left an indelible impression on colleagues and customers alike. In 2014, she retired, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and camaraderie. Her passions were as vibrant as her soul. From mastering the piano and horseback riding as a child to crafting blankets filled with love and care for her family, Sharon found beauty in every facet of life. Her creativity and generosity were unmatched. A devoted member of Big Miller Grove Baptist Church, Sharon served faithfully in various capacities, including the youth council and pastor's aid committee. Her contributions were invaluable, touching countless lives within her community. Sharon’s legacy of love, faith, and family endures in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward Hudson and Glady's O'Kelley (William-deceased), and her brother, Charles Milton Hudson. Her memory will forever be cherished by her three children, Mrs. Tamira Gipson (Carlos), Ms. Tinquila Hudson, and Minister Jeremy Hudson (Janika); eight adoring grandchildren, Jarkel, Demontrez, DeRodrick, Brianna, Tariq, Tia, Janiya, and Janessa; and one great-grandchild, Bryson. She is also survived by her siblings, Mr. Curtis Hudson (Carolyn), Mr. Clifford Hudson (Janice), Mr. Xavier Hudson, Mr. Stanley Hudson, Ms. Octavia Battle, Mr. Winfred Hudson (Pamela), Mr. Yarmon O'Kelley (Sherry), and Mr. Derrick O'Kelley (Sheila), along with uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of loving family and friends. Though Sharon’s earthly journey has ended, her light will continue to shine in the lives of all who were blessed to know her. She was a woman of elegance, faith, and immeasurable love, whose legacy will inspire generations to come.
