Sarah Lee Anderson

Dr. Sarah Lee Anderson, welcomed in birth on October 6, 1926, in Dallas, Ga, and departed this natural life on July 15, 2020, in Conyers, Ga. As God would lead, she yielded her fruit in due season: Mother, Paulding County educator and advocate, Southern Bell customer representative, friend and minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and founder of Growth in Christ Ministry, a Bible teaching ministry across various communication platforms. Dr. Anderson leaves to celebrate her life one daughter, Cecile (Davis) Cooper, and Daughter-in-Love, Lois Elaine Weaver (Michael), eight grandchildren: Lawrence "Boomp" (Sharon), Shaka (Tray), Lyle (Deanna), monét, Marcellus, Lucius (Wollansa), Langston (Lashay), and SarahRose. In addition to her immediate family, she lovingly leaves a nephew (Al), three nieces (Cassandra, Andra, and Teresa), 13 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a host of Raglands, Banks, Lemons, and Slaughters alongside spiritual daughters and sons. Having preceded her in death are her sons Baby Weaver, Charles “Wyrye” and Lawrence “Larry” Weaver, her daughter Sheila, her brother Wendell Gay, her sister Frankie (Gay) McClarity, and her parents Iona Gay and Homer Anderson. Our mother, friend, sister, prayer warrior and minister to the Body of Christ, will be deeply missed.
