Ronald O. Marrow

Ronald O’Neal Marrow was born November 20, 1966 in Brooklyn NY at Kings County Hospital. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Pleasant Marrow, Mary Anna Marrow and his mother Betty Bernice Marrow. Ronald confess Christ at an early age at Chapel Baptist church, where he was an active member of the usher board and young adult choir. Ronald received this primary and secondary education in Butts County Public School System and Granville County Public School System. He was a graduate in 1985 of J.F. Webb High in Oxford N.C. Ronald was active in baseball and basketball while attending school. He also drove the bus for the Granville County Public School System. Ronald loved being an entertainer so he and his friends decided to create their own band “THE TIME”. Ronald joined the United States Air Force where he faithfully served his country for six years and was honorably discharged. Ronald’s civilian career started with the Federal Bureau Prison System, followed by the United States Federal Air Marshal Service where he retired from government in 1996. After a short retirement Ronald, in an effort to support his expensive hobby and dream of owning a corvette, Ronald start working at GEO Prison as a Lieutenant Supervisor. Ronald truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasure of riding with friends. Ronald was strong, fun, loving, generous and especially passionate about providing mentorship, and sharing essential life skills and lessons learned, especially to young men. His beautiful memories will be forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved him especially his devoted family. Ronald passed peacefully from life secured in his personal relationship with God the morning of April 7, 2019 during the time his baby girl Sydney Marrow was being baptized. I believe he wanted to see her baptized and transition at 9:15 as she was baptized at 10:00. Ronald leave to cherish his precious memories: devoted wife, Andrea Marrow; daughter Cynthia Austin (Clarence), daughter Shayla Marrow; son Zachary Marrow; daughter Sydney Marrow; sister Roslyn Lee; sister Doreen Senior(Derrick) grandchildren, nieces and a host of beloved family and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be held at the South DeKalb Chapel of Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Home on Saturday April 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM.
