In Loving Memory of Roberto (Tito) Rivera Jr. Roberto Rivera Jr., a beacon of faith and a testament to enduring strength, generosity, and selflessness, lived with unwavering passion until his final moments and passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 16th, 2025 at the age of 48. He was born on July 24th, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York to Isabel Rivera and the late Roberto Rivera Sr. He is survived and deeply missed by his mom, Isabel; son, Gabriel; sisters, Lillian, Olga, and Rosa; nieces, Aracelis, Jo’Lisa, Raquel, Alexis, and Brianna; and great-nieces and nephews, Ja’Zelle, Winter, Kameron, Kyler, and Esperanza. Roberto Rivera Jr. lived a life filled with rewarding contributions and meaningful connections. As a fierce protector, his commitment to supporting his family was unmatched. Day or night, his loved ones knew that they could count on him to show up with an open mind and loving heart. A devoted father, he selflessly adopted his son from foster care and cared deeply for his family and friends, always putting others first. He shared his creativity and passion through singing, poetry, writing books, and competitive gaming—where he was recognized as the creator of the OG Socom Arena and well-known as Shadowgate—and by introducing loved ones to his favorite music, food, and signature dad jokes. A lifelong learner and versatile professional, Roberto earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix and applied his talents across multiple fields, including mortgage underwriting, medical services, IT, and business. Even while facing health challenges, he approached life with courage, determination, and a commitment to growth and service. He dreamed of building a foundation to support children in the foster care system. He wanted to share his story of resilience; leaving a legacy of hope, inspiration, and encouragement despite health challenges. His life is remembered not by the obstacles he faced, but by the love, laughter, and care he shared—a reminder that a selfless heart leaves ripples that last forever.
