The Story a Phenomenal Man Richard N Kemper II Richard Nathaniel Kemper II was born in Denver, Colorado on August 23, 1962 at 07:22am to the late Richard Nathaniel Kemper Sr. and Rosa Jane Kemper. Rick was always a boy of mischief alongside his brothers Roderick Charles Kemper, Randolph Miller Kemper, Reginald David Kemper and his sister Regina Kemper-Shelly. Rick was always energetic, often petite growing up but full of life and happy. When they were running from their father Richard SR, they were always together. Nothing could separate them. Upon moving to Augusta, GA, Richard (Rick) met his wife Jeanne P. Walker. This woman became his best friend, wife, and mother of their beautiful children Richard N Kemper III, Jennifer Kemper Macklin, Jada Alexis Kemper. This became his life. This became what he would soon hold on to become his greatest achievement, his greatest strength, his greatest mission in life. Upon Rick’s life journey, he found his spirituality. Rick began doing yoga, meditating, visiting temples, monasteries, and churches. Through yoga, he stumbled upon the Bhagavad Gita. This began the basics of his spiritual fellowship, learning, and journey. He later found Paramahansa Yogananda (author of “Autobiography of a Yogi”). Rick deepened his spiritual quest for knowledge and began teaching others (whether they liked it or not). Rick became a spiritual vessel and always on the quest for GOD and knowledge. As of late, Ricks body began to wane. But his spirituality and wholesomeness was bigger than ever. He is the personification of a great father. Whether riding you to become the best you can be, throwing you into a situation where the only choice was to survive, making you live, teaching you to realize that there is no defeat but an opportunity to learn from your mistake and move forward to conquer that defeat. Rick was a warrior that expected no less from his children. Rick was also the slick trickster, one who could take the darkest moment and turn it into a smile and teachable moment. One could never remain in a sad state of mind around him as he would soon have you on the floor with tears of joy and laughter. Rick is survived by his best friend, wife, confidant, partner, and spiritual companion Jeanne Kemper ; children Richard N Kemper III ((Trae – Terminator) Tonya), Jennifer Macklin ((Pocat)Chris), and Jada Alexis Kemper (Newt); grandchildren Riley and Matthew Kemper and Sophie and Christian Macklin; brothers Roderick Charles Kemper (Janet), Randolph Miller Kemper (Terrion), and Reginald David Kemper; sister Regina Kemper-Shelley (Suga); beautiful mother Rosa Jane Kemper, step mother Sandra J. Kemper, brother Dwayne E. and Derrick L. Turner and sister in law Andrea L. Muhammad.; beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Most of all, we cannot forget James Blackman who became a dear friend and spiritual student with Rick. James took care of Rick in his darkest moments as of late. His bravery and selflessness will never be forgotten.
