Mr. Paul Duane Robinson, 57, of Decatur, GA passed Saturday, February 25, 2017. Funeral Services for Mr. Robinson will be held at 11:30AM Friday, March 3, 2017 at Peace Baptist Church 4000 Covington Hwy, Decatur, GA 30032. Rev. Tyrone Barnette, Senior Pastor. Interment is private. Visitation is Thursday March 2, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at our South DeKalb Chapel and Friday March 3rd 10:30AM-11:30AM at the church . He was the son of Kenneth Robinson and Margaret Booker Robinson. He grew up in Knoxville and graduated from the University of TN with a Bachelor in Business. Paul worked for UPS during and after college, moving from the warehouse to driver to manager. He relocated to Atlanta, GA in 1988 and two years later met the love of his life Dalise Taylor. They were married in August 1991 and thru this union was blessed with three beloved children: Kristen Nicole, Taylor Marie, and Paul Anthony “Tony”. Paul worked for Atlanta Toyota and Home Depot and in 2002, launched his successful home inspection business- Robinson Home Inspections, INC. Paul loved life, family, friends, and GOD. He was an avid foodie, a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Braves, and Atlanta Hawks fan. He had an amazing memory for dates, music and events. His smile and laughter were infectious and even in his darkest moments he was always appreciative of his blessings. On Wednesday 2/23/17, Paul suffered a devastating heart attack. On Saturday 2/25/17, he departed this life after extending life to another via donation of his liver. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Margaret Robinson. Paul is survived by his wife Dalise Robinson, his children Kristen Nicole, Taylor Marie and Paul Anthony “Tony” Robinson. His siblings Kenneth Robinson (Janice)- Murfreesboro, TN; Albert Robinson- Knoxville, TN; Diana Robinson Hodo (Ray)- Stockbridge,Ga; Phillip Robinson(Yolanda)- Knoxville,TN. His two best friends- Mike Lewis (Kimberly) - Loganville, GA and Eric Cannon (Robin) Woodstock, GA. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and friends also survive.
