Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Patrick A. Williams, age 49, is to be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11:00AM at Peace Baptist Church-4000 Covington Hwy, Decatur GA. Pastor Tyrone Barnett-Senior Pastor. His remains will lie in state from 10AM to the hour of service on Monday. There will be a Viewing/Visitation on Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 12PM-5PM at the South DeKalb Chapel of Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Homes,-4347 Flat Shoals Parkway, Decatur, GA. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. …I have called you friends…” John 15: 12 – 15(b) Patrick (Pat) “PawDog” Antonnia Williams was born October 4, 1967 at Grady Memorial Hospital to the Union of Willie Floyd Williams, Jr. and Gladys Beatrice (Spurley) Williams. His Father preceded him in death. Born to the Union of Mr. and Mrs. Williams was Patrick, the eldest Son and big brother to youngest son, Rickey D‘Angelo. Patrick departed this life suddenly on the evening of Sunday, May 7, 2017 after a traffic accident while out for a Sunday ride on his beloved Suzuki, GSX motorcycle. Patrick matriculated at Decatur High School and Georgia State University where he studied Accounting, Finance, and Geography. He was currently the Account Manager at Credit Union Loan Source since 2014. From a previous relationship, Pat welcomed the birth of his first son, Bryson Kreig Williams, born on October 9, 1998. After meeting the Love of his Life, Shataria “Shay” Wright and her son Malcolm Cordele, Pat knew that this was his wife and after only 3 months, Patrick proposed. There was much debate about the date, as Pat wanted a March date and Shay desired a later date. They agreed upon a June wedding and were joined in Holy Matrimony on June 25, 1999. It wasn’t too long before their family circle grew to include the joyous addition of a baby girl, Amaria DeShae Williams on January 24, 2001. Patrick’s loves were #1 God, then Family, Sports, and Traveling. He was a beloved member of the HotBoyz Softball Team, in the Southeastern Complex Men Slowpitch Softball League at the Southeast Athletic Complex in Lithonia, where he played almost every position. He was also was associated of several local Motorcycle Clubs. Pat leaves to carry on his legacy of strength, love, family, and friendship his loving wife, Shataria of Stone Mountain; three children: Malcolm Wright, Bryson Williams, and Amaria Williams all of Stone Mountain; two grandchildren: Maliq Kordele Wright and Kristina Nicole Johnson; his brother, Rickey Williams and his wife LaSonya of Decatur; his mother, Gladys Williams; one nephew, D’Angelo Williams; a host Aunts, Uncles, Cousins; and extended family members and so many very close friends. The many lives that he touched whether you shared with him through his love of sports, motorcycles, or via his professional pursuits. His love of people enriched and/or changed us through his love and friendship that we received and shared with Patrick (Pat) “PawDog” Antonnia Williams.
