Patricia Robinson

Patrica Robinson was born to the late Mr. & Mrs.(Emma) Sanford on November 2, 1946. She attended Robert Shaw Elementary school in Scottdale, Georgia then furthered her education at Hamilton High School Scottdale,Georgia. Patricia worked for The DeKalb County School System for 27 years where she later retired. After retirement, because of her love for children she started a in home daycare called Mrs. Pat Day Care where she raised over 4 generations of her babies. Patricia simplified a Proverbs 33 woman in everything she did and was a Holy Ghost filled woman who didn't mind praising God. Whenever she went shopping to (her favorite place "Kroger") she was found testifying about her love for Jesus. She got up early every morning at 4AM for 18 years on a prayer line that she started. Her main goal in life was to serve the Lord. Her favorite quote was" God Can, God Will, and God is Able" . She accepted Christ at a early age where she joined Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend D.L.Edwards where she was baptized. Patricia was a member of Greater Friendship for over 40 years and served faithfully as an usher over the youth. She also was a member of the Friendship Gospel Choir where she sang her heart out and taught Sunday School. Patricia loved to cook for any and every occasion. She later joined True Spirit of Christ Deliverance under the leadership of her daughter Victoria Boswell. Her most precious gift was her support and love for all her family. She became the matriarch that kept our family glued together and always showing us the example to love one another. She loved and mentored many. She was a mother, grandmother, auntie and friend to whomever crossed her path. Patricia Ann Robinson leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, George Robinson of 40 years, five children Francis Boswell, Tia Byars, Pastor Victoria Boswell, Elder Yolanda (Bobby) Thurmond and Travis Candrea, 2 aunts Ms. Lois Butts( Cordele,GA) Ms. Lessie Johnson(Atlanta, GA) 4 God sisters, Ms. Mildred Martin, Ms Cora Norman, Ms. Bonnie Anderson, Ms Donnie Hall, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grand children, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Celebration Of Life Services will be held 12:00PM Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church 701 Rev. D.L. Edwards Drive Decatur, GA 30033 Dr. Louis Ferguson pastor. Interment Washington Memorial Gardens. Visitation FRIDAY at our Scottdale Chapel 351 N. Clarendon Ave Scottdale, GA 30079 from 10:00AM-8:00PM.
