Patricia Oliver

Patricia Ann Oliver (Williams), age 76, formerly of Covington, GA. transitioned to her heavenly home on Thursday, September 21, 2023. Patricia was born on September 19, 1947, in Plainfield, NJ., to the late Gertrude Williams and Howard Jackson. Patricia attended Central High School in Paterson, NJ, and soon after enrolled in Passaic County Community College. Patricia moved her family to Atlanta, GA in 1985 and shortly after began employment with Fulton County Department Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. After voluntarily parting with Fulton County, Patricia obtained employment with Rabun Gap Nacoochee School as a Residential Faculty member. In this position, she worked with students from all over the world and was one of the founding members of “The Light of Truth” bible study group for teens. Patricia was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where Rev. Dr. Robert Lee Crawford is the Pastor. She was very efficient in accomplishing her goals and will always be remembered for being a witness for Christ, her beautiful smile, nurturing personality, and inspiring everyone she encountered with the love that she shared. She was an avid collector of jewelry, antiques and she loved traveling the world. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, community activist and volunteer. Patricia leaves to cherish her most precious memories to her loving children, Avetta L. Oliver of Atlanta, GA, Maryum E. Oliver-Felix and son in love Juan Felix of Oxford, GA, her only son Harry C. Oliver IV and daughter in love Valerie Oliver of Covington, GA; seven sisters, Geraldine Rumph, Rose Holmes, Sheila Boggan, Faith Nash (Alfred), Deborah Ramsey (Darol), Twanice Smith (Derrick) and Brenda Jackson; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; Brother-in-law Harold Davis, Sr; Her loving god-daughter and husband Cheryl and Kelly Willoughby and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that are family at heart, of which includes Ada McCoy, Rebecca Marshall, Tiffany White and Juarette Kelsey. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, the late Harry C. Oliver III; her daughter, Tanya D. Parker (Williams); 5 brothers, Andrew Eugene Williams, Tyrone Gillispie, Dwayne Gillispie, Curtis (Curkey) Gillispie and David Gillispie; 3 sisters, Dawn Gillispie-Simmons, Robin Gillispie and Gayle Gillispie, and a long time friend, Clyde Little. Services of remembrance (viewing) will be held Thursday, October 5th from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. and her Homegoing Service Friday, October 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Gregory B. Levett and Sons Funeral Home, 1999 Hwy 138 SE, Conyers, GA 30013.
