Pamela Marie Thomas

Today we pay tribute to an extraordinary woman, Pamela Marie (Henderson) Thomas. Pamela was born in Boston Massachusetts on December 23, 1956 to Helen Henderson and the late Herbert Butcher. She was the 7th of 8 of her Mother’s children. Pamela received her education in the Boston Public schools system. She later gave birth to 3 children which she absolutely adored , Larry, Damian and Chillena. Pam was well known in Boston as a Fashionista ! And boy could she dress, not only herself, but her children, family and friends!! She loved playing basketball and although she was shorter than the other players, she played as if she was 6ft tall! Pamela moved to Atlanta and gave birth to 2 more children, Jesse and Ashley, which she also adored. Pamela moved back to Boston when she decided to further her education by proudly earning her GED. During her time in Boston, She met and married Lindsey (Jack) Thomas, and helped to raise his two children, Lindsey Jr and Destiny. She also was raising her son Damian’s children as well. Which was why she was affectionally known as Nana Pam, to everyone. Pamela also became a member of Holy Tabernacle Church. Pamela moved back to Georgia with her family, and gave her life to Christ! Pamela’s hobbies were dancing, modeling, cooking and singing karaoke with her family. We can’t forget her sense of humor, and how she was quick to crack a joke!She was a loving and family oriented person, that would give you the shirt off of her back! Pamela is proceeded in death by her Grandmother Eva Johnson, father Herbert Butcher brothers Dana Henderson and Nathaniel Butcher sister Shenelle Butcher great granddaughter Ivy Rue Henderson. She leaves behind to mourn Husband Lindsey (Jack) Thomas of Alabama Mother Helen Henderson of Boston, MA, Only Aunt Annie Polk of Boston,MA, Siblings Julia Henderson of Virginia Marlene Winbush, Deborah Henderson and Stephanie Johnson of Boston, MA Herbert Henderson of Georgia Joseph Henderson of California Alvin Williams, Gary Gaither, Cherry Tate, and Cheryl Mclorin of Maryland. Her children Larry Henderson(wife Maria and their children Tedria, Taliya, Ta’nae,Trinity and Terrell) Damian Henderson (wife Channa of Boston) Jesse Morris( Wife Erin), Ashley Peeples all of Georgia Chillena Veal of boston Step children Latia Cousins, Lindsey Thomas Jr. ,Lindsell Thomas all of Boston, MA and Destiny Thomas of Georgia Daughter in love Kara(Lil Mama) Perry of Georgia Grandchildren Adrianne, Perqwaila(husband DonavanSr) of Michigan Jaidah of Boston, MA Daziyah Damianna Damianique Damianasia, Amir(Josiah) E’mani, E’layah, Kamaria all of Georgia Great grands: Kendall,Kennedy,Kendrix, Sharecia, Aaila and Donavan Jr all of Michigan Bestie Quianna(Kee) her children Aveaun, Ayden and Tayanna, close friend Rick. Special thanks to those that played a role in helping take care of Pamela when her health took a turn.
