In Loving Memory of Neville "Tony" Melbourne Allen Neville Melbourne Allen, known affectionately to many as Tony, was born on October 8, 1941, in the district of Middlesex, Jamaica, born to the late Oscar “Pops” Allen and Elizabeth “Ms. Tiny” Harrison. He peacefully passed away on March 2, 2025. Tony spent his early years attending Turnberry All Age School and working at Brooklyn Supermarket in Kingston, Jamaica. On October 31, 1981, he married his lifelong partner, Monica Henry. Together, they shared 43 beautiful years of love and companionship. In 1982, Tony embarked on a new chapter in his life, moving to the United States and settling in Norwalk, CT. He found his calling at the Food Emporium/A&P Company, where he worked diligently until his retirement in 2007. Upon retiring, Tony and Monica relocated to Conyers, GA, where he lived until his passing. Tony was a man of simple pleasures and great passions. He delighted in taking care of his lawn, planting crops, with a special love for his sorrel, and watching TV. WWE wrestling and his beloved New York Yankees brought him immense joy. He loved to travel and made memories in Canada, Mexico, on cruises, and throughout various states. Tony leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Monica, his children, Suzie, Andrea, Glenroy, and Shawn, grandchildren, Tyreik Willoughby and Tahmores Willoughby, his siblings Jean, Patricia, Jimmy, Donald, and Patrick, as well as a host of in-laws, cousins, and friends. Today, we come together to honor the life of a man who was loved and respected by all who knew him. Tony's legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and he will be dearly missed. Rest in peace, Neville "Tony" Melbourne Allen. Celebration of Life Service will be held on SATURDAY, March 29, 2025 at Noon Lead Pastors: Rev. Mark & Sun Hardgrove.
