In Loving Memory of Mirlene Doresca Dupervil Mirlene Doresca Dupervil lovingly known as Mamoune passed away peacefully on June 10th, 2023, with her family lovingly by her side at the age of 49. She was born on December 7, 1973, in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to the late Vital Doresca and Yolette Louis, and she is the stepdaughter of Nere Romilus. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Good News Baptist Church. Mirlene was truly a remarkable woman who graced our lives with love, kindness, and unwavering dedication. Mirlene was raised in Lascahobas, Haiti, a place she always called home, she then moved to the United States, where she attended Freeport High School on Long Island, New York, and then moved to Roosevelt, NY, Uniondale, NY, and then finally Loganville, GA. Her favorite hobbies were gardening and yardwork and watching Soap Operas. Mirlene has accomplished many things in life, she earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing and as Registered nurse (RN) she worked at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Emory University Hospital and she was a travel nurse. She was a board member of HANA (Haitian American Nurse Association) where she volunteered and gave back to her community. Her path as a nurse was not merely a profession but a calling. Mirlene's tireless dedication and compassionate heart touched countless lives, leaving an indelible impact on both patients and colleagues. Beyond her role as a mother, sister and nurse, Mirlene was a loyal and compassionate friend. She possessed an extraordinary gift for understanding and connecting with others. Mirlene had an uncanny ability to bring light and joy into their lives, and her presence made even the darkest days seem a little brighter. Her friendships were cherished and her impact everlasting. She will be lovingly remembered by her three children Stephane Dupervil, Clarence Dupervil, and Darnell Dupervil, her stepdaughter, Daphney Dupervil: her siblings Myrtho Charles and Pradel Louis, her cousin Kelsie Hendrick and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. As we mourn the loss of Mirlene, let us also celebrate the incredible woman she was and the profound impact she made on our lives. Her love, compassion, and unwavering presence will forever be etched in our hearts and memories. We will carry her spirit with us, drawing strength from the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. May we find solace in the cherished memories we shared with Mirlene, and may her love and light continue to guide us on our own paths.
