Mattye Paschal

Born Mattye Elizabeth Jenkins, in Madison, GA October 30, 1934 to Jack and Martha Jenkins who preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 57 years, "the one and only" George Paschal whom they affectionately referred to each other as "Pat and Pat." Also, preceeding her in death was her beloved daugther Georgia Ann Jewell, and her beloved son Eric (Ricky) L Paschal. She was preceded in death by two of her older brothers Samuel Jenkins of New Jersey and James Edwards Jenkins of Bangkok, Thailand. She was educated in the Morgan County Public School System. In 1952 she was joined in matrimony with George Paschal. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at the early age of 18. She dedicated her life to serving in ministry as a sunday school teacher, church secretary, a choir member, christian school (teacher), a mother of the church, a mighty powerful prayer warrior,and a strong confidant and friend to many. She leaves behind; five sons and seven daughters, Mrs. Deborah (Paschal) and Cedric Willis of (Decatur, GA), Mr. Ronald and Thelma Paschal of (Fayetteville, GA), Ms. Veronica (Paschal) Moton (Stone Mtn., GA), Ms. Lisa Michelle (Paschal) Whitsett of (Riverdale, GA), Ms. Sheryl Paschal of (Stone Mtn., GA), Mr. Randal and April Paschal of (Lithona, GA), Mrs. Dena (Paschal) and William Conley of (Dallas, GA), Ms.Lynita Hammonds of (Stone Mtn., GA), Mr. Terrence and Deltonia Paschal of (Riverdale, GA), Mrs. Carmen (Paschal) and Vernard Swint of (Lithona, GA), Mr. Donnie and Lamaya Paschal of (Brunswick., GA) and Mr. Ronnie and Terese Paschal of (Grayson, GA); Also, a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; beloved brothers: Jack Jenkins and Horace Jenkins of (Metro Atlanta, Ga); beloved sisters: Shirley Gordon, Jessie Wickers, Linda Walker, Brenda Gilbert of (Metro Atlanta Area); sister-in-law: Margaret and Bennie Benford of (Madison, GA); and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Let it not be said that the sun has set on (September 18, 2021) for her, but a new life has begun. For there is no dead in Christ Jesus.
