Mary Morrison

Mary Earlene Cumberbatch Morrison was born November 20,1943 In Pittsylvania County, To the parents of Midred Hairston and Cyril Cumberbatch (Midred preceded her in death) She attended Southside High School in Blairs Virginia, And graduated in 1962 She married James Earnest Morrison in 1963 In there early life they dedicated there life to God became members of GuildField Baptist church in Dry Fork , Virginia She became a home maker. She later left the Danville va, area and moved to Richmond Virginia, she became a member of Fairh, Hope and Charity. She was well known for the neighborhood baby sitter she would keep a lot of kids including her grandkids. She had great patience with kids. In 1997 she made a final decision to move to Atlanta Georgia, To help raise her grandson (Demario Morrison) She became a member of The Way The Truth,and The Life Christian Center in Decatur Ga She also became a neighbor baby sitter she would always sing Yes Jesus Love Me ) To all her grandchildren and the kids she was babysitting keep them encouraged. God called Mary home on May 28, 2023 James E Morrison (Husband) James Q Morrison(Son) Preceded her in death. Mary leaves behind to cherish her loving memories: Her 3 devoted children 3 daughter in- law . Jacquelyn Morrison (daughter ) of Roswell Georgia, Daren and Rosa Morrison (Wife) Daughter in-law or Richmond Virginia, Terry and Sherrell Morrison (Wife) Daughter in-law of Richmond Virginia, Jeri Morrison daughter in-law of Richmond Virginia, Janice Holness (sister) of Danville Virginia, Sandra and Sam Sandra (sister) and brother in-law of Danville Virginia, Rosa Martin sister-In law of Danville Virginia, Mary Garland sister in-law of Danville Virginia, Mary Hinton sister in law of Clarksville Tennessee, Evelyn Coleman sister in law of Reidsville North Carolina, 14 grandkids. A host of great grandkids and great great grandkids and nieces and nephews ,cousins and friends. Psalm 23 The LORD is my shepherd I shall not want.
