Luvada Emma Jackson

Luvada Emma Jackson, 65, was born in Montgomery County, Georgia, on June 15, 1958, the daughter of the late Charlie and Pauline Quarterman. She departed this life on January 31, 2024, at Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, Georgia, 30045. She resided in Ailey, Georgia. She was a member of Saint Matthews Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Georgia. Luvada attended Montgomery County High School, where she graduated in 1976. Luvada was a jack of all trades! She was a true Angel to all and was always someone you could call on when you needed anything, whether support, love, a good meal, etc.! She was always a straight shooter who told you what you needed to hear right when you needed it! Preceding her in death are her late husband, Harold Jackson, her parents, Charlie and Pauline Quarterman, and three brothers, Curtis Curry, Charlie Henry, Jr., and Leroy Quarterman. She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Melissa Robinson of Lithonia, GA, and Tiffany Nicole (John) Blair Wilder of Snellville, GA; one brother George (Janie) Curry of Mt. Vernon, GA; six sisters, Judy (Emeral) Rawls of Mt. Vernon, GA; Charlie Mae Thomas of Riverdale, GA, Sharon (Robert) Hurst of Lawrenceville, GA, Angela Bell and Tracy Quarterman of Mt. Vernon, GA, and Connie Gales of San Diego, CA, and eight grandchildren, Markel Robinson, Jalia Bryant, Tion Wilder, Janai Wilder, Ja’juan Wilder, Armeija Wilder, Syria Chisholm, and Jaden Wilder. Also left to cherish her memory is her dear friend, Gloria Jean Gilchrist, along with a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 12:00 PM at Prayer Mountain International Church 309 Old Louisville Rd., Ailey, GA 30410 with a public viewing prior to the service from 10:00 AM- 11:30 AM. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM at our Gwinnet Chapel 914 Scenic Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30045.
