Mr. Leo McKee Jr., (51) of Stone Mountain, GA passed June 14, 2016. Services for Mr. Leo McKee, Jr., is Saturday, June 25, 2016; 2 pm at Berean Christian Church 1465 Highpoint Rd., Snellville, GA. Levett & Sons (770) 338-5558 Obituary Leo Neal McKee, Jr. can best be described as a caring and supportive husband, father, brother and friend. Those who knew him best knew that there was always a smile on his face and a good word for anyone he met. He knew no strangers. His jovial personality and caring heart knew no bounds. As we cherish his life, we are blessed with memories of his love for family, friends, and life. Leo Neal McKee, Jr. was born in Monroe, Louisiana on July 21, 1964 to the union of the late Leo Neal McKee, Sr. and Sadie Theresa Joseph McKee. He was the second of three children. At an early age he was baptized and received his first communion and confirmation at Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church where the late Father Ardwin was the pastor. He graduated from Carroll High School in 1982 where he was active in the band. Because of his love for music he pursued and received a band scholarship to attend Southern University and became a part of the famed Southern University Marching Band. While at Southern, Leo majored in Computer Science and received his degree in 1987. After college, Leo worked in Operations at the International Paper Company in West Monroe, LA. He later moved to Atlanta and accepted a position as a computer engineer with Ceridian. Leo Neal McKee, Jr. is survived by his wife of 8 years, Jennifer McKee of Stone Mountain, GA; two daughters, Angelia Tillman of Stone Mountain, GA and Alisa Tillman of Stone Mountain, GA; two granddaughters, Amorah Williams and Allaysia Johnson both of Stone Mountain, GA., one sister, Cyolonda McKee Holmes (Thomas Curtis Holmes, Jr.) of Dallas, TX; one brother, Deavalon J. McKee of Little Elm, TX, and one sister-in-law, Judith Gresham (Mark) of Lithonia, GA . In addition, Leo will be greatly missed by his nieces, Cyonna Holmes, Cyerra Holmes and nephews, Christian Holmes of Dallas, Texas, Aaron Gresham and Austin Gresham of Lithonia, GA; uncle, Johnny McKee (Lilly McKee) and a host of cousins and friends. The Lord needed one more angel and thus He called Leo early Tuesday morning, June 14, 2016. Funeral arrangements are as follows: Viewing will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 12:00 noon-8:00 pm at Levett & Sons Funeral Home (Gwinnett Chapel location) located on 914 Scenic Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30045, Phone (770)338-5558. The Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm (Viewing at 1:00 pm) at Berean Christian Church (Gwinnett location) located at 1465 Highpoint Road Snellville, GA 30078, Phone (678)240-2213. Burial will follow at Hillandale Memorial Park.
