Mr. Kenneth L. Brown

We are here to celebrate the life of Kenneth Brown. Kenneth “Kenny” Brown was born to Louis and Phyllis Brown on October 29th 1973. Though born small, Kenneth quickly grew into his booming voice. Kenneth attended school in Long Island NY. In the early 1990’s Kenneth came down south to work and learn from his Uncle Jessie. Then, in 1996 while visiting his friends back home in NY, Kenneth’s life changed forever. Kenneth was introduced to his wife Stephanie by a thoughtful mutual friend who thought they would be a good match. After dating long distance for a few months, Stephanie decided to move down to Georgia to be with Kenneth. Kenneth and Stephanie shared thru 26 years of marriage, a life that was never dull, filled with genuine love, laughter, and dynamic adventure. While it may not have always been all roses, Kenneth and Stephanie navigated the ups and downs of life side by side. Some of their happiest memories were made on the water. Kenneth and Stephanie shared a passion for cruising, taking to the seas together at least twice a year to travel to new places and celebrate their bond. Together, Kenneth and Stephanie have two children, Deshaun who is in the Air Force, and Briana who is following her dreams in California. Growing up as the youngest of four, Kenneth was dearly loved by his older brothers, Louis Jr. and Anthony Sr., and his older sister, Lisa. Family meant everything to Kenneth, a fact his sister Lisa knows well. Some of his fondest memories were rooted in his children’s younger years, particularly the summer tradition where Phyllis and Louis Sr. took all the grandchildren together, a true blessing for everyone. Kenneth also treasured family holiday trips to Florida, where he was in his element: playing Pinochle and Bid Whist, cracking jokes, talking trash, and treasuring every second with the people he loved most. A devotion to family defined him as a husband, father, brother, and friend. Matching his vibrant personality was his booming voice, a trait Stephanie fondly recalls when she’d ask him, “Why are you yelling? I’m standing right here.” That voice and warmth will echo in our hearts forever. Kenneth is reunited in death with his parents, Phyllis and Louis Sr.; his brother, Louis Jr.; and his grandmother, Catherine. His legacy lives on through his loving wife, Stephanie; his children, Briana and Deshaun; his sister, Lisa; his brother, Anthony Sr.; and his nephews, Kevin, Kyle, and Anthony Jr. His unmistakable spirit will be missed beyond measure. Visitation will be held Friday, August 7, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM with family hours held from 6:00pm-8:00pm at our Gwinnett Chapel 914 Scenic Hwy Lawrenceville, GA 30045.
