Juana Clark Heard

Juana Clark Heard, 74, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away on July 4th 2020 at home surrounded by her children. Juana was born January 27, 1946 to Lula Mae Elizabeth and Hayward Dudley Clark III in Atlanta, Georgia. Her mother was the store manager at Bronner Brothers on Auburn Avenue in Atlanta, Georgia. Her father served in the US Navy and was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. Juana grew up with her sister Sharon and brother Hayward “Michael”. She attended grade school at Slater in SE Atlanta. Outside of school, she spent summers with her grandparents on Holiday Street in Marietta. Juana graduated from Price High School with the class of 1964. After high school, Juana continued her education by completing 2 years of business school. Juana began her career as an Insurance Claims Processor before being offered a position at Lockheed Martin, where she retired in 2010. Juana was married to Larry Eugene Heard and loved her family. She enjoyed baking, cooking, juicing and watching movies. Juana spent a lot of time with her children and grandchildren. She loved studying the Bible and serving the Lord. Juana was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of Word of Faith Family Cathedral in Austell, Georgia. Juana leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Larry Heard, her mother, Lula Clark Rachel, her two siblings, Sharon Jameson and Hayward “Michael” Clark IV, her five children: Starr Jones, Tonia Hawk, Brent Jones, Chanell Heard, and Alexandrea Heard, son-in-law, Rod Hawk, daughter-in-law, Latrina Brown, grandchildren: Kalyn Wilson, Zoe Luna, Brent “Bryson” Jones, Deion Hawk, Roderick Hawk II, and Demetrius Hawk, a host of sister-in-law’s, brother-in-law’s, nieces, nephews and cousins. Juana was preceded in death by her father, Hayward Dudley Clark III and stepfather Willie Allen “Curtis” Rachel Sr. Mrs. Heard will lie in state Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 4-6:00 PM, where services will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM with INVITATION ONLY. Burial in Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114 at 2:00 PM. The Service will be recorded and streamed live. Services are entrusted to Gregory B.
