Mrs. Jill Marie Carpenter-Ghant

In loving memory of Jill Marie Carpenter Ghant, born on March 31, 1969, to Veronica Williams and the late Charles Carpenter in Chicago, Illinois. Jill' s journey began in Chicago and later led. her to Atlanta in 1984. Graduating from Walker High School in Atlanta, GA, she embarked on a life filled with passion and dedication. Amidst raising her three beloved daughters, Jill pursued both work and education, earning her degree as a Medical Assistant. For over 25 years, she dedicated herself to the healthcare field. As a proud and hardworking mother, Jill instilled the values of hard work, discipline, and love in her daughters. Known as her "Girls," they were the center of her universe, and she spared no effort in providing them with a foundation built on hustle and determination. In 2005, Jill met her husband, and their love story culminated in marriage in 2018. They became devoted members of Peace Baptist Church, where their shared faith brought them joy and strength. Jill was not just a wife and mother; she was a cherished "Gammie" to her grandchildren. She found immense joy in spending time with her "Gammie babies, " showering them with love and creating lasting memories. Beyond her family, Jill was a devoted fan of the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs. Her love for her community shone through her active participation in various charitable marathons, where she volunteered her time to make a positive impact. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Kenneth Ghant Jr, her three daughters, Sydney (Justin) Robinson, Michelle Banks, Brittany Banks, and son Kenneth Ghant III. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Jayda Bennett, Chase Robinson, King Bennett, Ebony Trammell, Destiny Trammell, Donovan Trammell, and Cameron Cooper. Jill is survived by her Father and Mother in-law Pastor Bernard and Debra Ghant. In Laws Karlton Ghant, Katrina Ghant, Kristen Ghant, and her siblings: Charles (Nicole) Carpenter, Nayisha Carpenter, Jasmine Shepard, Barry (Kayla) Williams, ShaTerra (Reginald) Hardy. She is also remembered by her bonus siblings: Jeffrey (Tamika) Terrell, Laneeka Terrell, LaQuida (Cherhonda) Terrell, and Benita Terrell. In her journey, Jill formed deep connections, and among her closest confidantes were her best friends Kisha Boyle and Kim Harris. Together, they shared laughter, tears, and the beautiful moments that defined Jill', s extraordinary life. May Jill' s legacy of love, hard work, and dedication continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to be part of her remarkable journey.
