Mr. Jesse Hayward Jr.

To the delight of his parents Mr. Jesse Hayward, Sr and Mrs. Lillie Hayward this beloved son entered the world on November 14, 1945 in Birmingham Alabama. At an early age Jesse joined First Baptist Harriman Park Baptist Church. In later years at the aging of his now deceased mother to reconnect with the church he joined Jackson Memorial Baptist Church and was a faithful member until June 28, 2018 when he put on his immortal attire and took The Master’s Hand, as he was lovingly lifted from his affliction. Jesse demonstrated a strong belief in church, family and love during his life. He enjoyed attending Sunday Worship while faithfully supporting the ministry. He enjoyed the fellowship of members including Pastor and First Lady Sutton He praised God for blessing him with three loving daughters; one devoted son and a son and daughter gained from his wife. He was a devoted brother to his sister Linda until the day of his passing as she remained by his side until his departure. Amongst his richest blessings was his loving wife who never left his side demonstrating her love through sickness and health and until death did them part. He was continually comforted by her presence and her loving heart. Jesse was a proud military veteran of the United States Army. He was a hard working man with decades of service to various companies of employment. Through the treasures of life he could always behold the beauty of life in God his wife, children and family. This Blessed man of God is preceded in death by his father Jesse Hayward, Sr., his mother Lillie Hayward; his brother, Frank Green and his grandson Bobby Gleaton, Jr., He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Deborah Hartley-Hayward, daughters, Tonica Gleaton (Bobby), Toshos Hayward, Jessica Smith, Davernea Williams; Son, Timothy Hayward and TaVonn Swearing; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sisters; Deloris Hayward and Linda Carr; brother Samuel Hayward; Two nieces, Charlesa Coleman and Rena Thompson and a host of great nieces and nephews and friends. Mr. Jesse Hayward Jr. 72 of Atlanta GA passed away on June 28, 2018. Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday July 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church, 534 Fairburn Rd. NW Atlanta GA 30331.
