Jermaine Ian White

Celebrating the Life of Jermaine Ian White September 11, 1972 – April 13, 2023 Jermaine Ian White was born on September 11,1972 to Lawrence Floyd White and Lois C. White in Queens, New York. His father preceded him in death. Jermaine’s grew up in the Saint Albans area and was educated in the NYC public school system. His youthful days were spent playing “freeze tag” red light – green light, street football, stickball, basketball and a favorite Skelly. Jermaine was easy to make friends throughout the neighborhood with his playful and witty character. Which led many to believe they were GG’s best friend. Jermaine’s grew up loving music especially rap which led him to writing lyrics of his own going by the name of “Larceny”. He also found his love of cars and became a self-taught mechanic (a Lawrence White trait). There wasn’t a “hoopty” he could not fix to drive up and down Linden Boulevard if not for a few miles. Jermaine loved playing basketball and watching his favorite team the New York Knicks. Jermaine’s adulthood led him to relocate to Georgia with his family where he began his employment with UPS. There he made plenty of friends at work and around his adopted city. Jermaine’s greatest accomplishments in life were becoming a father to his two daughters Satia Nian and Aniya Simone White. He was devoted to them and loved them unconditionally. He also suffered a great loss with three of his other children Elijah, Sani and Nia. Jermaine’s life of the party persona he would let you know “His comedy is good”.. Throughout Jermaine’s life and upbringing, he knew and believed in God. With his love for God you would hear him often say, “MY God is and AWESOME GOD”!! Jermaine leaves to cherish his daughters Satia, Aniya, preceded in death Sani and Nia. Son Elijah (preceded in death). Mother, Lois C. White, brothers Franciso Morgan and Mark White (Michelle). Sister Bonita (Stanley). Aunts Bonita White, - Zenobia Thompson, Lela Holder ( Byron), Leta Daniels and Uncle Leroy Adams along with several nieces and nephew's cousins and friends. Jermaine will be missed but not forgotten.
