Funeral Service for Mr. Jeffery Coast, of Lithonia, GA, will be held Friday Feb 22, 2013 at 1PM at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. 6400 Woodrow Rd Lithonia, GA 30038. Levett and Sons Funeral Home. 404-241-5656. --- Jeffery Lavon Coast was born in Savannah, Georgia on February 10, 1962. He was the son of Marilyn and William Burnett and the late Joseph Coast. Jeffery was a member of Connors Temple Baptist Church and was baptize under the late Rev Benny Mitchell at an early age. He always knew the Lord and confirmed his relationship with him before he took his flight. He attended Alfred E. Beach High School where he played football for Home of the Bull Dogs in Savannah, Georgia; graduate of the class of 1982. Shortly after high school Jeffery joined the US Navy and worked in the capacity of Aviation Mechanic serving six years. Afterward he returned to Atlanta, GA. He was employed by Hazarded Wasted Management Company. Of course you know Jeffery didn’t want anybody to tell him what to do, therefore he became his own boss. As an entrepreneur he was dedicated to his work. He had many clients that depended on him. He was a great painter and didn’t like anyone to do his work and mess it up. That would be trouble. He didn’t mine telling you what was on his mine. But overall Jeffery had a heart of GOLD; he would give you his last. Jeffery took his flight on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. His siblings, Joseph Coast Jr. and Jerome Coast as well as his father Joseph Coast preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Mrs. Stephanie (Anthony) Benjamin, Brooklyn, New York, two sons Chadwick Coast Johnson and Carlton Coast Johnson both of Stockbridge, Georgia, one grandson. Anthony J. Benjamin Jr., A caring and devoted mother, Marilyn and William Burnett, one sister who he loved dearly, Antoinette Coast, Savannah, GA, one brother Sean Cousin, Statesville, North Carolina, 4 nieces Semetria Mars-Woodley, Felicia Coast Upshaw and Tasha Coast; 3 nephews, Calvin Maurice Mars III, Jerome Coast Jr. and Brandon Coast Woodley, special friends Ms. Thelma Perry (like Mother), Latisha (Peaches) Thomas, Ms. Ginger Wilson and host of a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
