Jeffery Lee Sanders

Mr. Jeffery Lee Sanders was on born on May 25, 1960 to the Late Mr. and Mrs. Moren and Annie Sanders in Cook County, Illinois. Mr. Sanders attended Chicago Public Schools and graduated from Martin Luther King, Jr. High School. He later relocated to Battle Creek, Michigan in 1989 where he met and married his wife, Sheila M. Sanders in 1992. He was employed by G & M Painting Company; he was later employed with Beech and Rich, Inc., where he worked for many years until he started his own company, S & J Painting. Mr. Sanders enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, restoring old cars and building car motors. He was the type of person who never met a stranger and always made people feel welcomed in his presence. He was the “life of the party”. Even when there was no party, you could count on him to bring the party with him. He was a great listener and he offered sound advice that was positive and easy to apply. He was adventurous, encouraging and patient. He was the protector of his family and always the peacemaker. As a father, he was gentle and understanding yet firm in his moral principles. Most of all, he was a man who loved and honored God. Mr. Sanders is preceded in death by two of his sisters, Caroline and Vanessa. His memory will be cherished and his legacy will continue through his Wife, Mrs. Sheila M. Sanders; Children, Jeffery (Tina), Sean, Moren (Anne), Timothy, Ikea, Tony, Samantha (Christopher), Jalon, Tyriq and Julian; Grandchildren, Jehari, Christina, Jeremiah, Shanya, Latrell, Caylee, Aubree, Danielle and Christopher, Jr.; Sisters, Diane (Marty) and Margretta (Dennis); Stepmother, Karen Sanders; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Celebration of Life Services for Jeffrey Sanders will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 1:00PM. These services will be recorded and streamed live.
