Ms. Inonege S. Robinson

Inonege Shanai Robinson, affectionally called “Nonege”, was born on May 13, 1990, to the late Mr. Walter Charles Robinson and Mrs. Alicia Browning Robinson. She was the youngest of their four daughters. She departed this life on Sunday, August 6, 2023. Inonege attend elementary, middle, and high school in the DeKalb County School System, graduating from Miller Grove High School with the Class of 2008. Inonege was active in different clubs during high school and graduated in the top 10% of her class. After high school, she attended Georgia Southern University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in December of 2013. While at Georgia Southern University, Inonege joined and became a member of different organizations on campus including the Voices In Ministry Choir and the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity, where she was committed to community service and leadership within the Statesboro communities. Inonege accepted Christ at an early age at Big Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia where she was baptized by Bishop Miles E. Fowler. She was always an active member of the church where she sang in the Youth and Young Adult Choir and the Praise Team, she also worked with the Youth Council. She later joined Springfield Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. Eric W. Lee in 2015 where she continued her service to the church. There she was very active in the Music and the Young Adult Ministries. Inonege began her career with the Georgia Department of Transportation in July 2017. Most recently she worked with the Office of Materials in the Physical and Chemical Testing Lab as a Laboratory Scientist. She enjoyed her work and was very fond of the close relationships she built with her colleagues. As the youngest sibling, Inonege loved her sisters dearly. Their special bond was clear to all who knew them and witnessed their sisterhood. Inonege always insisted that she was the favorite sister to each of her sisters. She was also a loving daughter, friend, aunt, and godmother. She will be remembered for her kindness, loving infectious spirit and beautiful smile. She will always be remembered by those she touched and impacted. Inonege leaves to cherish her precious memory her mother Alicia “Alice” Robinson; her sisters LaShandra Robinson, Merishia (Michael) Coleman, and Quand (Le’Keldric) RobinsonThomas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, church family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter C. Robinson.
