Minister Hilda Richbow, 60, passed Monday, February 27, 2017. Home Going Celebration for Minister Richbow will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Home. Levett & Sons Funeral Home 4347 Flat Shoals Pkwy., Decatur, GA 30034 (404) 241-5656 Hilda Richbow was born in New York City, New York to her proud parents, Caesar and Lueltha Richbow on January 13, 1957. She was the first born of their four children. Hilda attended elementary school in New York City. Hilda also graduated from the High School of Music and Arts in New York City and later attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. Hilda was a career New York State employee where she worked for most of her adult career. She was well loved, admired, and respected by her fellow co-workers and was known by them for her genuine compassion and caring nature. From an early age, Hilda spent regular time in prayer with her grandmother Dora Blanding. Hilda, an ordained minister, was a member of Remnant Seed of Christ Church. She was also an active participant/honorary member of Heart of Christ Church in Atlanta, Georgia where she was a frequent guest minister and worship leader; and where she left a lasting spiritual impression on its members. She was a spirit-filled believer who praised and worshipped God without ever ceasing. An outstanding and gifted musician, Minister Hilda, also known as “Hilibah” to many who knew her spiritually, continuously worshiped God through her music, most notably through her ministry “Blue Fluid Ministries.” She possessed and regularly exercised several spiritual gifts, not the least of which was the gift of prophecy. Her genuineness and kindness will live on through the many persons that she has touched. Hilda will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Now, she goes home to join her Lord and Savior in His eternal service. Minister Hilda leaves to mourn her passing her parents, Caesar and Lueletha Richbow; her natural brother, Pastor Ceasar D. Richbow and his wife, First Lady Elaine Richbow; her natural sisters, Theresa Richbow and Loriann Richbow-Brown; many other spiritual brothers and sisters, including Apostle King Larry Crawford, and Apostle Chai-Yehovah; one living uncle, Leon Pitts; two living aunts, Louise Booker and Lula Mack; and several nieces and nephews, including Ceasar D. Richbow, Jr., Linsey J. Richbow, Roscoe E. Brown, Malcolm Brown, and Carl David Richbow. She also leaves to mourn her passing a god daughter, Breyonna Crawford, and a host of other family, friends, and relatives who she loved dearly and who will miss her earthly presence.
