Helen G. White 87 of Stone Mountian GA passed away on February 17, 2019. Celebration of Life Services for Helen Grace White, age 87, will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 12PM at The Covenant Church-1700 Corey Blvd, Decatur, GA. Senior Pastor Bishop Quincy Carswell, Sr -Eulogist. Her remains will lie in state from 11AM to the hour of service on Saturday. Viewing/Visitation will be TODAY, Friday, February 22, 2019 from 10AM-8PM at the South Dekalb Chapel of Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Homes-4347 Flat Shoals Pkwy, Decatur, GA. Ms. Helen will be laid to rest at Washington Memorial Gardens-700 Jordan Lane, Decatur GA. She bore 3 strong sons; Phillip Benton, Sr., the late Clifford “Keith” Benton, and Daryl White, along with 6 beautiful daughters; Pamela Benton, Paula “Rita” Benton, Tammy White, Toni Benton, Shery Graham, and Andra “Shay” Lewis. Her 9 children became the center of her universe and the channels by which she created a lasting legacy. Helen leaves her beautiful memory and the charge of her legacy to keep with her remaining 8 children, and a Daughter-in-Law, Linda Benton. She leaves 7 grandchildren who loved her beyond words and who she would do anything for, including posing for an album cover and interviewing with the press! They are Jarren (Erica) Benton, Tyranius “Tiger” (Zakeniya) Simmons, Phillip (Crystal) Benton, Jr., Taylor “Alex” Lewis, Sherita Ragland, Yolanda Ragland, and Darryl Ragland. She also leaves 8 Great-Grands who she was the apple of their eyes and the beat in their hearts. They are Courtney Dyson, Tyler Simmons, Tatianna Lester, Gia Benton, Chase Simmons, Hunter Grace Simmons, Judah Benton, and Zoe Simmons. She also leaves a special Goddaughter who held her heart, Jermica (O.Tanner) Tanner, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Please express your condolences here on our website.
