Gregory Grover Gales, Jr.

GREGORY GROVER GALES JR, son of the late Gregory Gales Sr. and Christine Gales was born on June 20, 1978 in FT Bragg, North Carolina. he moved to Baltimore, Maryland after graduating high school to explore new endeavors. Gregory, affectionately known as “Greg” transitioned from his earthly life to his eternal life on June 7, 2023. Greg attended North Carolina public schools where he received his high School Diploma. Greg started his career in 2010 with Servpro as a certified Emergency water technician his love for being on the go led to a new long-term career as a Manager with Emergency Water Removal where he was employed until his passing. Greg was passionate about his career and enjoyed being able to help and ease the burden of the water damage loss for his customers, he always went above and beyond maintaining his professionalism while still showing compassion. Gregory “Greg” He loved to have a good time and be amongst people that knew how to have fun. Especially enjoying time with his children and was often known to be the life of the party. Greg often liked to host family gatherings and cook outs where he was known as THE GRILL MASTER making the best grilled food with love. Greg gave his life to Christ at an early age where he then became a member of Morning Star Baptist church in Baltimore, Md until he relocated to Georgia. Greg enjoyed many pastimes. He enjoyed spending time and playing with his children. He loved eating crabs, crab cakes and shrimp or any seafood for that matter. He often enjoyed watching his favorite football team Baltimore raven play. He was also known for his promptness often the first person to arrive at any function ready to enjoy the festivities. Greg was a very happy and laid back man who enjoyed the simple things in life. A good game or Law & Order on the television, would surely put a smile on his face. Greg will be GREATLY missed! Greg leaves to cherish his memory, his Wife; Monique Malone, two sons, Damonta Gales, Morgan Gales, three step children Melvin Burgess III, Madisyn Ervin, Mason Ervin, two goddaughters Tysheiana Cokley, Royal Cokley-Wright, One Godson Walter Holloway IV, Sister in-law Tanika Cokley, Best friends Harry Cokley Jr., Terrence Bell also survived by birth mother Christine Gales, biological Sister Christina Gales and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
