Frederick Ransom McCall

Frederick Ransom Mccall had the ability to leave a lasting impression on anyone who was blessed to be in his presence. Whether you were with him for 10 min or 10 hours, you had no choice but to be consumed by his magnetic personality. Frederick embodied the essence of his name which means “peaceful ruler,” and he lived up to its potential daily by always praying for those in need…asked and unasked. Frederick described himself as a people person. He loved meeting new people and connecting like minded individuals together. He loved life and everyone that was fortunate to cross his path was blessed with prayer and the joyful nature of his presence. He was extremely compassionate with others and his passion for service showed in everything he laid his hands to. If he wasn’t picking out the perfect outfit or sending a flower arrangement for a special occasion, he was doing what he did best…praying. One of Fredrick’s gifts from God was intercessory prayer. Frederick was a prayer warrior and if you requested prayer from him or if you were blessed by Frederick ever praying for you, know that God had him intercede on His behalf in “good measure, pressed down, shaken and runneth over”. Frederick Ransom McCall was born in Cleveland Ohio on May 16, 1958 to Georgia Sumpter and Ransom McCall. Freddie as he was known by his family was the firstborn grandson to Carrie and Frank Sumpter. There was no person that Freddie didn’t leave an impression on. When he walked in a room his light consumed the space. He never met a stranger and his family and friends loved him as much as he loved them back. He would never except anything less than your absolute best. And when it came to business he would often say he learned more business sense from his grandfather Frank Sumpter than he would ever learn in a lifetime. Frederick attended Beulah Heights Bible College, School of Divinity in Atlanta and became a licensed, ordained minister. Church was in Frederick and everywhere he went he made sure everyone knew how deep his love was for the Lord. In his professional life, he worked 15 years in the jewelry sales industry as the GM for Sterling Inc. and nine years in the luxury automotive industry for brands such as Jaguar, Audi, BMW and Lexus. Frederick demonstrated his ability to anticipate customer needs, build rapport, relationships and client trust. In 2009, Frederick married the love of his life Leza Lorene Bennett and together through this union, they became life partners in ministry and in business. Frederick was able to take his business knowledge and spiritual guidance to help Leza advance her business “The Perfect Brows by Leza”. Frederick was a true dedicated servant of God. He touched so many people and their lives in Atlanta and throughout the many places that he traveled. Frederick’s favorite scripture was Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, ‘’ declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future.” Frederick is survived in love by his wife Leza Bennett McCall, son Frederick Myles, daughter Georgia Ella, son Eric Taylor, daughter Mantima Bost, daughter Lontia Durham , daughter Tamara Courtright, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sisters Pam and Tanya McCall, Aunt Joyce Sumpter, Uncles Mike Sumpter, Greg Sumpter and Cedric Sumpter and a host of other loving family and friends.
