Francenia Robbins

Mrs. Francenia Robbins was born on October 17, 1949, in Millhaven, GA (Screven County) to the late Mrs. Edith Mae Jackson. She departed this life on September 18, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mother, and two brothers: Harry Lee (Sandy) and Marion Turner (Priscilla). Francenia matriculated through Screven County School System and graduated from Central High School where she was an avid track runner. Francenia was joined in holy matrimony to John Robbins, Sr. on October 20, 1967, and enjoyed 56 years of a strong, stable, and happy marriage. After several years as a dedicated employee at Richway Stores, Francenia began a career at West Building Material until her retirement in 2000. Francenia, was a very warm, kind, and friendly lady. She truly enjoyed being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandchildren were her world! As an adult, Francenia loved playing softball. She enjoyed fishing with her devoted husband and her favorite outings were attending the many extracurricular activities of her grandkids, which consisted of football games, baseball games, track meets, volleyball games, chorus performances, and cheer competitions. Francenia was known to frequently watch Western movies and the news, while being a listening ear to her many nieces and nephews. Francenia and John would often take spontaneous trips to their favorite place, “the casino”. Francenia leaves to cherish precious memories her husband, John Robbins, Sr.; three sons: John Robbins, Jr., Kenneth Robbins, Sr., and Brent Robbins (Chang); six grandchildren: Chara Robbins, Champion Robbins, Kennedy Robbins, Kenneth Robbins, Jr. , John Robbins III, and Cana Robbins; two brothers: Jerry Alford (Joan) and Jeffery Alford; three sisters: Berthania Washington (Timothy), Marian Turner, and Angelina Alford; four brothers-in-law: Ernest Robbins, Sr. (Bertha), Claude Robbins, McArthur Robbins (Ann), George Robbins (deceased), Calvin Robbins (Louise), and Bronface Robbins (Belinda); five sisters-in-law: Christine Robbins, Alberta Hardnett (Larry), Leatrice Mobley (Flen), Lorraine Moore, and Delaine Lovett (Darryl); as well as, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and close friends.
