Dr. Faith Elizabeth Williams

With unwavering trust in God, we celebrate the life of Faith Elizabeth Williams, who entered into eternal rest on April 2, 2025. True to her name, Faith lived with deep faith, boundless love, and a fierce joy that could not be dimmed. She ran her race with excellence, poured her heart into every step, and finished strong—so strong, in fact, that we know God was ready to welcome her home. Born in Wichita, Kansas, July 10, 1994, Faith grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and later moved with her family to Robinson, Illinois, and then to Snellville, Georgia. From her earliest days, Faith was bold, curious, and wise beyond her years. She spoke her mind with confidence, and while some might have called her bossy, those who knew her best saw a born leader—clear, fearless, and full of purpose. Athletics were woven into the fabric of Faith’s early life. On the basketball court and the soccer field, she was a commanding presence—focused, skilled, and relentless. Her father, who coached her throughout her youth, said it best: “When Faith was on the court or the field, she made things happen.” She brought out the best in her teammates and never held back—always playing full-out, always leaving it all on the court. Faith applied that same drive to her academics. A lifelong standout in the classroom, she earned a full academic scholarship to Eureka College after excelling in high school and scoring high on the ACT. She played collegiate soccer, basketball and track & field before completing her undergraduate degree in Psychology, and later went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy—choosing a path that allowed her to lift others, heal pain, and bring hope. She was a gifted pianist, a bit of a foodie- she loved sushi and discovering special restaurants, and a young woman who lived with style, substance, and soul. Her mother, who shaped her with wisdom and love, taught her how to channel her boundless energy and vivacious personality into grace and sophistication—without ever breaking the strong, beautiful spirit that made her who she was. Faith lived with intention and generosity. She loved fully and received love fully. As her mother has said, there are no regrets—because Faith gave her whole heart to this life, and her family and friends gave her theirs in return. She is survived by her devoted parents, Diane and Janssen Williams; her beloved brother, Micah Williams; grandparents Andrew Washington, Maxine Washington and Doris Jean Williams; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; friends; and colleagues who will carry her spirit with them always. Faith has now crossed the finish line of this earthly race, and we trust she is in the arms of the One who gave her the strength to run it so well. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
